Welcome to Life of a Filmmaker

This Blog was launched to document the Life of a filmmaker myself for one and others for sure. join me for the journey that my dreams brought me on. You may be in the same spot don’t give up there has never been a better time for the Independent Film Makers in NY or any where in the world to get their work seen and become famous.

The video below is a clip from the upcoming movie “I’ll Always Love My Mama”

Osiris Imhotep has written twenty-one (21) screenplays ready for production and has just completed the most anticipated independent movie entitled “I’ll Always Love My Mama”. He has also executive produced the film “Crows Cry” as well as several shorts. Imhotep is the executive produced of the movie soundtrack for “I’ll Always Love My Mama” as well.

He is an alumnus of both Duchess Community College and Marist College.

Osiris is a native of Mt. Vernon, NY, home of the two time academy award winner Denzel Washington who both have met and says the best advise Denzel gave him was “You are a director, so act like a director”.

Osiris Imhotep is 37 years of age and is recognized by his peers as the best action writer in the industry.

His next two (2) projects are “We People Who are Darker than Blue” which makes “Training Day” look like a walk in the park. And “Money Earnin”; is based on his real life experiences in Mt. Vernon, NY and tells the story of College students who are stick up kids and one in particular who is scouted to play in the Major Leagues as a pitcher. Sort of “Coolie High” meets “Point Break” action film.

What he has set out to accomplish is to be a force in the multi-media industry, far beyond creativity but always at the threshold of new technology.
